Many parents ask about getting their daughter's skills to the next level. A club team can definitely provide the professional coaching and focus on individual - and team - skills that you may want.
Most club teams are quite competitive and require a try-out for new players. Try-outs happen in the late summer and fall.
Following is a quick list of some of the girls' club teams in the Boston area, their website URL, contact information, and try-out dates. Some teams, like MassElite, hold their try-outs in August (so they're set for the year), but there are other clubs that are still in try-out season.
* full disclosure: my daughter and several other Belmont girls play on the REVs - I'm happy to tell you more if you're interested.
