I don't remember a season so rainy. We've had to cancel both practices this week and the games last Sunday were also canceled because the fields were so drenched. We only have a few weeks left and to miss so much playing time now is not helpful to building skills! Hopefully by this Sunday we'll get back out there again.
This season has been a good one. The MBGLLs decision to have 3 levels of teams, Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced, has worked out well for us. This year has been much more balanced. I was a bit worried at the beginning of the season because we had so many new players, but in fact, all but one of our games has been very competitive - and we've won a few and lost a few, but they've all been good games!
The girls skills are improving and we're working on more complex skills, which has been fun to watch. Now we just need to get out to practice them!
